It's a family affair! Zoe decided to make the big leap over the water and join her mother, Lois, at Mandurah Oedema Services.
After deciding to follow the nursing route into healthcare, Zoe studied a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Manchester in the UK which she completed in 2016. Zoe's next move was working as a Staff Nurse at the Acute Assessment Unit in the Royal London Hospital, a leading and internationally renowned hospital based in East London with a large and diverse population outreach. Between 2016 to 2020, during which time Zoe had progressed to Sister/Charge Nurse, she nursed people at many different stages of illness and disease. This was an eye-opening experience to the importance of wellness over illness and nurtured a desire to achieve better patient outcomes through more preventative holistic approaches.
Zoe began her Dr Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage course in early 2021 and developed a keen interest in early onset of Lipoedema and Lipoedema treatments as well as the preventative measures of lymphoedema.
